Delinea Cloud Suite 23.1 Maintenance May 18, 2024 04:30-14:00 EDT
Delinea will be installing security patches on all Cloud Suite pods on Saturday, May 18th from 4:30 am to 2:00 pm EDT. No downtime is expected but inadvertently may occur is there are any issues. The only inconvenience customers should see is that SSH and RDP connections may reset during this timeframe.

Scheduled - Maintenance Details:
Purpose: Secret Server Cloud will be undergoing maintenance.

Expected Impact:
This update improves the security of the SOAP and REST issued tokens. Previously issued tokens are no longer valid following the update. This may impact 3rd party integrations, custom scripts running in customer environments, Connection Manager, the Mobile applications, and the Web Password Filler.
Credentials remain valid and can be used to get a new, valid token through logging in again. Platform tokens will remain valid, as will issued cookies. No site downtime is anticipated.

A new optional Engine version of 8.4.31.0 will be released. This new version addresses the token refresh handling condition which caused last week's forced Engine restart. We recommend that all customers on version 8.4.30.0 of the Engine upgrade to 8.4.31.0.

Engines which remained on version 8.4.30.0 have been restarted to allow them to reestablish a connection to the Azure Service Bus.

Scheduled - Distributed Engine version 8.4.30 introduced a token refresh handling condition where connectivity to the Azure Service Bus would fail after 7 days. In order to prevent this failure from occurring over the weekend, all Distributed Engines on version 8.4.30 will be restarted sometime between 5 PM and 6 PM ET today.

Distributed Engine restarts will disrupt persistent connections utilizing SSH and RDP proxying. Once the Distributed Engine has restarted the connections can be re-established. Restarting typically completes within a few seconds.

The team is working on a fix for the token refresh condition, and a new Distributed Engine version will be made available as soon as possible.
